The most damage due to hailstorm has occurred in Bhiwadi and Tapukda area. Among these, Tapukda, Karoli, Khushkheda, Budhibawal, Rabarka are said to have suffered the most damage. Here, hailstorms of more than half an inch thick have fallen. The hailstorm was so strong that the entire ground turned into a white sheet.

That is why the wheat and mustard crops have been completely destroyed. Now the farmers are demanding compensation from the government. Also, many vehicles were damaged, their glass panes broke and dents appeared.

The weather suddenly changed in Lunkaransar tehsil of Bikaner district on Thursday and hailstorm along with heavy rain ruined the hard work of the farmers. Heavy rain and hailstorm in Chak 5 AD, Sheikhsar and Nathwana villages ruined the Rabi crop standing in the fields.

According to local farmers, this sudden disaster has caused extensive damage to wheat, gram, mustard and cumin crops. The hailstorm destroyed the crops in the fields, due to which farmers may have to suffer huge financial losses. Farmers said that the hard work of the last several months was wasted in a few minutes. The mustard and wheat crops were completely ruined. Now it will be difficult to repay the loan.” Other farmers of Sheikhsar and Nathwana villages also said that the crops were almost ready and harvesting was about to begin, but this sudden devastation broke all their hopes. Farmers have demanded from the administration that proper compensation should be given by conducting a survey of the damage as soon as possible. Local Sarpanch and Panchayat representatives also took stock of the loss of the farmers and appealed to the government to provide relief amount.
