Suraksha Sakhi Samvad Pakhwada organized under the joint aegis of Rajasthan Police and UNICEF Rajasthan

Suraksha Sakhis from various police stations of the district, including child welfare police officers, participated in the program.
A district level training program was organized in Chittorgarh on Wednesday under the Suraksha Sakhi Samvad Pakhwada organized under the joint aegis of Rajasthan Police and UNICEF Rajasthan. In this program chaired by Chittorgarh Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi, Suraksha Sakhis were trained on important topics like child protection, women empowerment and cyber security.
Child Welfare Committee Chairperson Priyanka Paliwal shared information about the POCSO Act and child protection laws. She said that Suraksha Sakhis can play an important role in eradicating child marriage and other evils.
UNICEF Divisional Child Protection Advisor Sindhu Binujeet highlighted the objectives of the Suraksha Sakhi campaign and gave comprehensive information on child protection and women empowerment. She inspired the Suraksha Sakhis to spread awareness in the community and make women self-reliant.

During the program, many Suraksha Sakhis including Durga, Priyanka and Gayatri, members of Kalika Patrolling Team, shared their experiences. On this occasion, a special video related to the Suraksha Sakhi campaign was also screened, which showed the achievements and objectives of the campaign. 80 Suraksha Sakhis from various police stations of the district, child welfare police officers and other dignitaries were a part of this program. This event not only made the Suraksha Sakhis aware but also motivated them to bring a positive change in the society.
