Smart India Hackathon 2025

The Smart India Hackathon 2025, encompassing both software and hardware editions, is being held at PIET, Manipal University, and SKIT in Jaipur. This hackathon provides a platform for young innovators to showcase their coding abilities, problem-solving skills, and technological creativity. Teams from colleges and universities across the country are participating in the grand finale. These participants from 13 states are developing software solutions to six problems posed by various departments of the Rajasthan government, under the guidance of their mentors.

The student participants are developing software solutions based on smart education, smart automation, and clean and green technologies. These solutions will be meticulously reviewed by a panel of 22 jury members, including 12 senior experts from government departments and 10 experienced technical experts from the industry, based on innovation, practicality, and technical effectiveness.

Dr. Dinesh Goyal, Director of the host institution PIET, stated that the Smart India Hackathon 2025 is inspiring young talents to develop creative thinking, design thinking, and technology-driven solutions by working on real-world challenges. He added that state-of-the-art technical infrastructure, high-speed internet, mentoring support, dedicated workspaces, and well-organized hospitality have been provided to the participants to ensure that all teams can innovate to their full potential.
