The 2026 edition features an impressive line-up of speakers from India and across the world.

Jaipur BookMark (JBM), South Asia’s leading B2B platform for the publishing industry, will return from January 15 to 19, 2026, alongside the Jaipur Literature Festival. Over the years, JBM has established itself as a vital meeting ground for the global publishing community, bringing together publishers, editors, writers, translators, agents, and rights professionals to engage in meaningful dialogue on the business and future of books.

The 2026 edition features an impressive line-up of speakers from India and across the world, including Ananth Padmanabhan, Arunava Sinha, Deepa Bhasthi, Emma House, Harsha Bhatkal, Jeet Thayil, Kanishka Gupta, Martin Puchner, Rita Kothari, Vivek Shanbhag, William Sieghart, Yoshitoki Ōima, and several other distinguished voices from across the literary and publishing spectrum. The programme reflects JBM’s focus on rights exchange, translation, emerging markets, and the evolving dynamics of global storytelling.

Jaipur BookMark continues its joint initiative with the British Council through the India–UK Publishing Fellowship, aimed at strengthening professional collaboration and expanding international exposure for independent publishers. For the 2026 edition, two outstanding fellows have been selected: Harriet Hirshman, Publishing Manager at Dead Ink Books, Liverpool, and Ruby Hembrom, an Adivasi publisher and founder of the non-profit publishing house adivaani. Both fellows will participate in Jaipur BookMark 2026 as well as the London Book Fair 2026, with the support of the British Council.

Speaking on the upcoming edition, Manisha Chaudhry, Director of Jaipur BookMark, highlighted the forum’s adaptive approach to a rapidly transforming industry, with a renewed focus on digital innovation and future-oriented publishing practices. Namita Gokhale, Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Jaipur Literature Festival and Director of JBM, emphasised its role as an essential ecosystem where ideas travel across languages and cultures, fostering long-term collaboration.

With sustained support from the British Council and Teamwork Arts, Jaipur BookMark 2026 promises to be an unparalleled platform for exploring trends, forging partnerships, and shaping the future of publishing on a global scale.
