Tight security arrangements are being made in view of the visit of US Vice President James David Vance to Jaipur. 7 IPS officers, 20 Additional DCPs, 40 ACPs, 300 ASIs, SIs and CIs will be deployed for Vance’s security. The police have also been instructed to remain alert. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma held a high level meeting ahead the US Vice President visit to capital. In post on X, Sharma said that ‘the officials were instructed regarding review of security arrangements, compliance of protocol standards and coordinated action plan.’

Apart from his private vehicles, 20 vehicles of the Rajasthan government will be in his convoy for the security of the VVIP. US Vice President David Vance will meet many big personalities during his visit to Jaipur. The security agency has made it mandatory for all those who meet to get RTPCR (Corona test) done. Every person who meets or lives near the Vice President will be tested for Corona. Earlier, officials of the foreign security agency have visited Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Amer Fort.

2100 constables will be deployed in the field in view of arrangements and security. Three hospitals in Jaipur have been instructed to keep 5 units of every blood group in reserve. Apart from this, ambulances equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a team of doctors will accompany him during the tour. Wherever Vance’s team stops, there will be a food testing team. This is the first time in the last 13 years that an American Vice President is visiting India. Earlier, Joe Biden had visited India in 2013.
