Rajasthan SIR

Nearly 42 lakh names have been removed from Rajasthan’s draft electoral rolls

In Rajasthan, the list of voters whose names have been removed from the electoral roll under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process has now been made public. Nearly 42 lakh names have been removed from Rajasthan’s draft electoral rolls as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR), according to State Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan. He stated that enumeration forms could not be obtained from about 41.79 lakh voters out of the state’s total electorate of 5.46 crore. This list includes the names of voters who are absent, permanently shifted, or deceased. Notices will be issued to these voters by the Election Department. After receiving the notice, the concerned voters will have to submit their necessary documents; otherwise, their names will not be included in the voter list.

Voters can search on the website using their EPIC number

Those whose names are not included in the draft voter list still have the opportunity to remain registered voters. This list pertains to voters whose names have been removed due to permanent relocation, prolonged absence, or death.

Detailed information and the list related to this entire process are available on the official website of the Election Department. Voters can search on the website using their EPIC number. The facility to search by assembly constituency and part number is also available. The list of absent, shifted, and deceased voters can also be viewed and downloaded by district, assembly constituency, ward or village name, and booth number.
