“Our primary focus is ensuring the safety and convenience of devotees. With AI and other digital tools, we are making Kumbh Mela 2025 a seamless experience for everyone,” says an official from the organizing committee.

For the first time, the Kumbh Mela is offering a “Digital Darshan” feature, allowing devotees unable to attend in person to participate virtually. Through a dedicated mobile app, pilgrims are watching live streams of the sacred rituals, accessing real-time schedules, and even booking slots for online blessings from spiritual leaders.
“This initiative ensures inclusivity, especially for senior citizens and international devotees who face travel constraints,” says a spokesperson for the app development team.
